Short sizing continues to be inconsistent

Bought this shirt when there was a sale going on. I typically have to check and see what materials the shirts are made of, as a lot of times that determines how they fit. This is a 60/40 blend in the same exact color and material as another shirt I have. Sizing was COMPLETELY off. I have to pay to return it now because it fits like a dress. I don’t know what is up with these shirts but they’re never consistent in size.
