Athlete Support

The first step to joining a SOFLETE Team is to go here and sign up! Our All Access package gives you access to every team and training cycle that SOFLETE offers, including a tailored nutrition program that is designed by SOFLETE's inhouse Registered Dietitian Nutritionist for only $34/month.

You can also always email us at help@soflete.com and we'll do our best to answer any questions you have as quickly as possible. 

There are two stages to signing up for the new app. First, you need to check out and create your account on soflete.com. It sounds like you've already done this. After you do that, you will receive 2 emails:

  1. Your purchase confirmation and order number;
  2. An email prompting you to create an account on the SOFLETE app - here is what this email looks like:

When you first created your account and signed in, it's likely that you didn't enter all of your working maxes - either due to a time constraint or simply not knowing every single one of your PR's. 

Because much of our programming is done with prescribed percentages, rather than outright weight recommendations, it will be useful for you to have as many Working Maxes as possible recorded in the database. The data that you record on this page will be used to auto-populate your workout weights. If you don't have a Working Max field filled out, that's ok too, but field will show a 0 for the prescribed weight. It will be up to you to choose a weight that makes sense for that exercise and set/rep scheme. Because of this, it's highly recommended that when you can, you update the working maxes page. 

The good news is that it's easy to go back and update your working maxes.

While we expect that most athletes will be doing the most recent Team workout, we also understand that some athletes may have joined mid-cycle, or simply want to complete a historic cycle. We've made this extremely easy to do. 

After you have logged into your account, click on the team you want to access. Scroll to the bottom of the screen for "View Cycles".

Select the cycle you would like - the next time you log in, you'll be brought right back to where you left off. No need to select the cycle again, or find your place.

Manage Subscription

Updating your billing information is easy. Simply log into your account here: https://soflete.com/account. If you do not have a Soflete account, please contact help@soflete.com

Once you have logged in, click on "Manage Subscription".

From there, you will be able to view your purchase history, as well as edit/update your billing information. To update your billing information, click on "Billing Information."

Finally, click on "Update Card" to update your billing information.

Nutrition Program

Check out this blog post on what each of the goals mean and how to get the most out of the program.

Each recipe will automatically scale to one serving size for your needs. The app uses all of the information you put into your profile to create your menu and scale your recipes. Make sure to keep your profile up to date so the program adjusts as you progress. To meal prep, multiply the ingredients list by the number of desired servings.

Each meal has a step-by-step recipe to make the nutrition program easy to follow. Including an equipment list of the tools you need before you get started. Some recipes take longer to cook and prep, but the skill level is appropriate for a beginner in the kitchen.

You can use the calorie and macronutrient targets as your goal for daily intake. You can also use the ‘Recipes’ tab to search hundreds of recipes, and treat the nutrition program as your personal cookbook when you need inspiration in the kitchen.

The post-workout snack is designed to have a specific macronutrient ratio that differs from the other meals and snacks to help your body recover and muscles grow.

On rest days, you won’t need your post-workout snack.

If you don’t know your exact body fat percentage to enter manually, you can choose from the pictures of various body types, and the app will ballpark your body fat percentage for you. It is highly recommended to do some type of body composition testing at least quarterly to most accurately track your progress.

Products

All of our shirts are either a tri-blend of polyester, cotton, and rayon, or 60/40 blend of polyester and cotton. These blends are chosen for their soft feel. 

Our shirts run just a little on the small side, so we recommend that you go up a size if you're in between sizes or if you do not prefer a slightly tighter fit. 

We restock periodically, but don’t have a set restock schedule. You can always sign up for back in stock alerts through the In Stock Reminder button. 

It’s always a good idea to check out our Instagram (@sofletehq) and Facebook from time to time, as we do announce restocks and new items there when they come in. 

We recommend that you wash our shirts in cool or cold water, and tumble dry on low. 

Our board shorts should be washed in cool or cold water, and laid flat or hung to dry. Putting the board shorts in the dryer is damaging to the 4-way stretch of the fabric, and will quickly cause it to lose its elasticity.

Returns & Exchanges

We have a 30 day exchange policy.

Items need to be in their original state, unwashed and unworn (except for try on).

To exchange a product or order, please follow these steps:

1) Email: help@soflete.com with the subject line: "RMA" to obtain a Return Authorization Number within 30 days of the invoice generated date. Include what item you would like to exchange.

2) Place the products inside a shipping envelope or box and write the Return Authorization Number clearly and visibly on the outside of your returned package. Then mail the package to the following address:

Exchanges that cannot be fulfilled due to being out of stock will be compensated with a store gift card.

We are currently experiencing delays as a result of the higher than normal volume of orders and the complications & challenges from the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic. Rest assured that we are doing everything we can to get orders shipped as quickly and efficiently as possible, while still maintaining the proper protocols. As soon as your order ships, you will receive an email with your tracking information. We do not ship on Saturdays and Sundays, and Friday orders after 2pm ET may not process until Monday. Please keep in mind our warehouse requests at least 48 business hours to process orders.

Yes! We ship to APO/FPO addresses all the time. When you submit your order, be sure to put APO or FPO in the "City" field, AE or other applicable abbreviation in the "State" field (scroll to the bottom of the pull down menu), and select "United States" as your country. If you fail to do this, not only will your shipping costs be much higher but the proper shipping carrier may not be assigned resulting in your order being returned to our warehouse.

Training

Our All Access includes all of our programming teams (including Mobility and Nutrition) for the low price of $34/month.

Most teams are programmed in distinct 12 week cycles, with more specific training goals and build-up/de-load periods, as opposed to the more linear format of the social media programming. Additionally, the subscription teams come with access to SOFLETE coaches and our Registered Dietician, as well as performance tracking and the ability to interact with the other SOFLETE athletes.

Our programming is offered on a month to month subscription basis, with no commitment. If you feel like it’s not the right fit for you, you can cancel at any time.

SOFLETE methodologies are based on a proven system of building strength and stamina.

To put it simply, our programs are designed to strengthen your body in order to be able to better handle the rigors and impact of either a SOF Selection, or operations as an SOF operator. We want to be very clear: the fitness needs and performance points to pass a selection, even, are not the same as what is needed in a special operations team.

Some of the movements we program have no true substitution.

They are odd object movements that have inherent instability that activate muscles that a barbell can't fully replicate. Most of the substitution questions we receive are sandbag related. 

We suggest either buying a sandbag or making one on the cheap out of a sandbag and 100 mph tape, because honestly there's nothing like moving a sandbag. However, we realize that certain gyms don't allow certain movements, space is limited, or equipment isn't available.

Sandbag ground to shoulder -> atlas stone ground to shoulder -> double KB clean -> power clean

Lateral sandbag throws -> lateral KB throw -> lateral sledgehammer strike -> KB chop -> lateral cable chop -> lateral med ball toss (triple the distance)

Over the shoulder sandbag throw -> over the shoulder atlas stone throw -> over the shoulder KB throw -> over the shoulder med ball toss (triple the distance) -> power clean

Back rack barbell carry -> march in place with barbell (1 step equals 3/4 of a meter)

There is a way to train for rucking without rucking and that's trunk work and cycling.

For swimming, you can sub in running, rowing, or cycling (including stationary bike). Multiply the swim distance 4.25x for rowing, 4x for running, 12x for cycling.

While it's not optimal to complete a workout over multiple training sessions, we realize that sometimes life dictates otherwise. In the event that you need to split your workout into 2 sessions, the best way to split up the workouts is:

SOFLETE is a group of current and former SOF personnel who are also accomplished athletic coaches, combined with non-SOF experts in the fitness industry. SOFLETE was born out of necessity.

As members of the community we were always posed two questions: How do we build the athletic capabilities of our bodies, as well as prevent and fix injury? 

The philosophy is that it’s hard to be hard and it’s hard to be smart. Push hard in big lifts and sprints and when your body tells you it’s hurt, take the time to heal. After years of pushing through minor injuries and prolonging our rehab we realized there HAD to be a better way. 

We've also learned there is more to fitness than "go run till you can't run." In a small team there is no such thing as "relative strength." You're either a strong performer, or somebody else is pulling your slack.

At this time, we do not offer discounts on our programming. 

No, but when your buddy passes out after his marathon you'll be able to carry him to the car.

Do you want to be prepared for anything that life may throw at you? 

If the answer is yes, then SOFLETE will benefit you.

Our programs are subscription-only and are continuous improvement programs, not limited cycles.  

Subscribers have the ability to access daily programming through computers and mobile devices. 

Tracking workouts is easy and gives each athlete the ability to compete with other athletes via the leaderboard, as well as the tools to analyze gains and intelligently track progress.

Barbell, Bumper Plates, Squat Rack, Pull-Up Bar, Bench, Kettlebells of varying sizes, Dumbbells of varying sizes, Sandbag, Sled, Weight Vest, and a Rowing Machine.

It is possible to substitute some movements due to lack of equipment, but this list will be your ideal setup.

Our Garage Fitness, Garage Health and Minimalist Teams offer training for those with limited equipment and time.

The daily workouts are non-periodized samples of our programming. To truly improve and see results, you need to join a team and start following the periodized programming based on your specific goals.

Most movements have videos within the app. If that's not sufficient, you may want to take at least a basic class on fitness and movements at a local facility. If you have questions about movements you can ask us by messaging on Facebook. 

There are exactly zero websites offering what we do, and we intend to be the best at that; programming for high-performing tactical athletes.
