Top 10 Most Lethal Units on Earth

This one is sure to chap some asses around here. 

According to a piece recently published by wearethemighty.com, two American units are amongst the ten most lethal in the world. The list - which also counts Russia’s Spetsnaz, Spain’s Special Naval Warfare Force and The Sayeret Matkal of Israel, amongst others - comes replete with a pretty badass video showing those units doing some of the shit they do best.

According to the site, Delta Force’s spot inclusion on the list has to do with the unit’s “superior ability to capture or kill high value targets, dismantle terrorist cells, and conduct covert missions in any area of operations.” It also posted this awesome Delta Force training video that leaked a few years ago.

Five spots up the list, at number one (though the author claims this list is totally arbitrary) are Navy SEALs. Of course, the competitive standard to even be considered for BUD/S training is insane, but other than their brutal training regimen and high bar for entry, the site doesn’t really tell us why SEALs are amongst the most lethal special operations unit on Earth.

And even though this list is apparently presented in no particular order, the author “saved (SEALs) for last. Because, come on.”
